SECURtracers at Pharma West Africa 2025: Advancing Pharmaceutical Security in Nigeria

Participating in Pharma West Africa 2025 was a fantastic opportunity to engage with industry leaders and reinforce our commitment to enhancing pharmaceutical security in Nigeria!

We had the privilege of connecting with pharmaceutical manufacturers, distributors, regulators, and healthcare professionals. We demonstrated how SECURtracers provides real-time, on-dose authentication to combat the proliferation of falsified medicines.

While in Nigeria, we furthered discussions with the Nigerian Institute of Medical Research (NIMR) and the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC). These key regulatory bodies play a crucial role in pharmaceutical safety and oversight, and our conversations focused on expanding collaborations to integrate SECURtracers into Nigeria’s national framework. Strengthening regulatory mechanisms and ensuring the authenticity of medicines from production to patient remains a top priority.

We are excited about the potential for deepening partnerships with key stakeholders to drive lasting improvements in the fight against counterfeit drugs.

As we continue expanding our impact, we look forward to collaborating with regulatory bodies, industry leaders, and healthcare professionals to enhance pharmaceutical security across Nigeria and beyond.
