Attending and exhibiting at Pharma West Africa was an incredible opportunity to engage with key stakeholders in the pharmaceutical industry and showcase how SECURtracers is revolutionizing the fight against counterfeit medicines. As counterfeit pharmaceuticals remain a critical issue across Africa, SECURtracers’ authentication and traceability solutions offer a robust approach to ensuring the safety and integrity of medicines.
At the exhibition, we connected with pharmaceutical manufacturers, distributors, regulatory authorities, and healthcare professionals who are actively seeking innovative solutions to combat the circulation of substandard and falsified drugs. Demonstrating our innovative technology, we illustrated how SECURtracers can provide real-time authentication, and ultimately protect patients from harmful counterfeit products.
Beyond the exhibition floor, our meetings with the Nigerian Institute of Medical Research (NIMR) and National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) were a highlight of our visit.
The engagement at Pharma West Africa and our strategic discussions with the NIMR and NAFDAC have reaffirmed the urgent need for advanced authentication and traceability systems in Nigeria. We are excited about the possibilities of working alongside industry leaders and regulatory bodies to drive meaningful change in pharmaceutical security.
As we continue our mission to safeguard medicines worldwide, we look forward to further collaborations in Nigeria and beyond. If you’re interested in learning more about how SECURtracers can help protect the pharmaceutical supply chain, feel free to reach out to us!
